Because I wore a tie on the regular. Not that I went to a private school or anything. I just had uniform envy and made my own. Red pleated tartan skirt? Check. White button up collared shirt? Check. Tie? Check. Knee high leather boots? Black lace bra? Black studded belt? Red lipstick? Check, check, check and check-a-roonie! Seriously, this was what I looked like for a good part of 11th and 12th grade. Thanks, Cheryl, for taking the epic shot, by the way! Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that if I showed up to, say, my 10 year high school rocking this particular style of tie, it would suffice to say that few would be shocked. Well here is a piece of good news: MARTIN LASTRAPES, the author of Inside the Outside which we read and LOVED, has a FREE short story on Kindle today. Yep, FREE. What the friggin hell are you waiting for??? Click here and get it already. Check out our reviews here and here for Inside the Outside. You might as well buy it too since you're already on the Amazon page and it's on sale. What a glorious day! Now this is just talent. Stripping AND book reviewing simultaneously? Have you seen anything better?! Ps. LOVE the shoes. J.R. Ward is one of my (Cara) favourite reads. These books are 'hard' to put down, if you know what I mean. Here is our fan Green Angel and her June Book Revolution entry. It's great to finally see a pic of the real you Green Angel! I have been reading J. R. Ward series for 5 books until now, and I love it. In fact, reading that our heros could purr, it made me feel like a cat. As a consequence, I turned into a cat myself. *Purr*. I have to say that both Kat and I enjoyed the creativity that went into this Book Revolution entry. Thanks Green Angel! Ha! I LOVE when he huffs the book at the beginning like a drug addict. Brilliant. Browning and Foxing sound a little sexy, I love it. Xx Seriously, Snoop Dogg is my hero. |
